City Buses

Included in each participant's bag is a traveller's card, which will enable you to travel by any city bus (yellow buses) from Sunday 21st through Wednesday 24th. Buses depart approx. every 20 - 30 minutes from around 6 a.m. to 12. p.m. Passengers enter buses at the back, and travel cards are only presented on request. However, be sure to carry your travel cards during all bus rides!! Fines for not being able to show a valid travellers card are rather nasty. Most bus lines run via the central railway station (Banegårdspladsen/Park Allé) and/or the central bus station (see city map). Time schedules are signposted at the individual bus stops, and comprehensive bus schedules can be bought from most kiosks. Bus drivers are supposed to announce the name of each stop over the loudspeaker, but when in doubt, just ask him/her to tell you when you get to the required stop.

Buses stopping close to the workshop auditorium include lines: 3, 11, 14, 54, 56, 58 and 90. Coming from the city centre you get off the bus at "Kommunehospitalet" (the city hospital) and cross the street to enter campus.

Line 4 (bound for "Frydenlund") will take you to the southern end of campus. Just get off at the "Fyensgade" bus stop and walk up the hill.

Line 7 also take you close to the south end of campus. Get off the bus on "Kaserneboulevarden". Head east to enter the campus area.
